The Class Gift was created in 2005 through the impulse of three graduates of 2005: Michel Touati, Marc Ramanantsoa and Jean Garandeau in order to raise awareness amongst their classmates to say a last “thank you” before leaving the campus and to give towards the development of HEC.
The donation of the graduates to the HEC Foundation will be used to finance scholarships and loans for the future graduates. The graduates who decide to donate will be invited to a charity dinner for this year’s graduates, the Class Gift dinner.
This is how the Class Gift tradition was born, a big charity dinner, which brings together 600 people in the Hall d’Honneur, on the eve of the graduation ceremony. The Class Gift has now become the highlight of our last year at HEC, giving us the opportunity to gather all together one last time before leaving the campus and demonstrating our commitment to this school that has given us so much.
All the programs of the 2013 graduates of HEC are associated: the students of the “Grande Ecole” (3rd years and Specialized Masters), the MBA, the Executive MBA, the PhD…
Since 2010, the Class Gift is also opened to students 5 years after their graduation. This is a unique opportunity to get together and make solidarity donations to show that you still care for your School.
The campus associations also participate to the Class Gift: the Carrefours HEC, the Junior Enterprise, the MBA Council and HEC Entrepreneurs.
